Expo markers gained traction in many businesses and classrooms in the 1990s. Currently, we have at least 13 big brands that manufacture and sell dry erase markers. And Americans alone use so much dry erase markers that over 400 million dry erase markers are thrown into landfills each year. According to my survey, 84% of respondents said yes when asked if they would buy a product that could extend the lifetime of dry erase markers. My survey only sampled .000061% of the US population, while it is a small sample, many people would buy the product out of convenience as exchanging dry erase markers every so often would become less cost effective. One dry erase marker costs about $1.25 before tax on average, if I sell my product for less than $5. Then people would save money because instead of spending an y = 1.25x + C every 3-4 months, you would instead be buying half the amount due to saving costs and life extension.

summary:
I found my information when I was brainstorming ideas and I wanted to look for solutions on the internet and I saw the information and it made me realize the inefficiencies of the solutions. It took me awhile to reach a solution as there are not solutions to the problem, but the closest thing to a solution is small DIY projects. I learned from the solutions is that there are more than one ways which does not require chemicals to reach a fix to the problem. There are physical solutions as well like using physics to solve or gravity.
