Volume Calculations:
V=pi(r^2)h
V=pi(2.75^2)8
V=190.0663555
V=190.1
Justification for selected design:
Firstly, the person really wanted this design, as well as it was a good idea in the form of a platform base. As well as it was easy to assemble, good design and something to combat for size.

Construct and test
Test data and analysis: Unfortunately, I was not able to produce a physical product. But knowing so, it would not have been able to fit and I know I would have to retest and remake the product to attach the charm to the backpack.

Cost Calculations:
Design Cost: $30/hour and approximately 4 hours
30*4 = $120 based on the design.
Material Cost:
PLA- ($30/0.5kg)(1kg/1000g)= $0.06/g
ECO-ABS and PETG- ($35/0.5kg)(1kg/1000g)= $0.07/g
Nylon- ($40/0.5kg)(1kg/1000g)= $0.08/g
Production Cost:
TC=($30/h)x+($#/g)(d)(V)+($0.08)t
x=Design Cost hours(4 hours)
V=volume of product(2.7in^3)
t=hours spent on production cost(2)
d=density of product(4.54oz/in^3)
PLA- ($30/hour)(4)+($0.06/g)(4.54)(2.7)+($0.08)(2)= $120.90
ECOABS and PETG- ($30/hour)(4)+($0.07/g)(4.54)(2.7)+($0.08)(2)= $121.02
Nylon- ($30/hour)(4)+($0.08/g)(4.54)(2.7)+($0.08)(2)= $121.14

PRESENT solution
I think I did poorly. I could have improved massively but I bit off more than I could chew. I do plan on going back and actually working on it when I get better and have a better understanding of the software.
The final product unfortunately did not align with what I imagined in my design statement. I am sure I met most of the requirements, only one that I did not meet was the volume. The customer was not satisfied with the end result as he has yet to get a charm. For sure, my time could have been used efficiently during the attempt of making the final design of the product.
The types of models I have made were two models. A 3D model of the sketch, and the design on a board. The 3D model was used to experiment the difficulty on making a human shape design on a new software. When I realized that was out of my skill range, I proceeded to make a 2D model. The limitations of the 2D model was that I had a certain amount of space to expand my design as it was on a board. My justification of using my 2D model instead was that my skill level at that was not of the same echelon as creating a 3D model of a human which is significantly harder than a 2D model of a human.
I learned that collaboration is key and to test as well as double check if they are satisfied with it, which goes in hand with collaboration.
